I previously served as lead for Daugherty Business Solutions Digital / UX team, and was the Senior Director of Digital Customer Experience at Union Pacific Railroad where I led a team responsbile for modernizing the organization's customer-facing web, mobile, and voice assistant experiences.

Experience Design

Usability isn’t just an end result, it requires a concerted effort. With an undergraduate focus in Human-Computer Interaction, I’m able to bring the art and science of solid design principles to the drafting table. The process starts by understanding customers using contextual inquiries, card sorts, personas, and journey maps. The process evolves to rapid prototyping using tools like Figma or good old-fashioned pencil and paper. It continues through to evaluation of designs via usability testing and heuristic evaluations. Finally, higher fidelity designs are generated using Photoshop and HTML / CSS / JavaScript and brought to fruition by development teams.​

Product Leadership

I bring a product mindset to the work I do as well as the teams I've led. Throughout my career I've established product visions, identified objectives & key results (OKRs) for the product, lead multiple product delivery teams, prioritized features, and managed product roadmaps.

Agile Delivery Excellence

Successful product execution requires close alignment between design and delivery personnel. I have 12+ years of experience in agile delivery and agile transformation. I’ve had the opportunity to manage and direct multi-million dollar programs, establish and grow agile development teams, engage with challenging business partners, and manage complex budgets. All while keeping projects within scope and budget throughout the process.​ I've also consulted with multiple organizations on agile best practices and agile transformation.
